What we do
Soventia designs and builds AI automation, custom software and apps. Most of the work is practical: an assistant that answers from a company’s own documents, an integration between two systems that should have been talking for years, a mobile app, an internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet nobody trusts.
What sets the work apart is where it runs and who owns it. We build on infrastructure our clients control, in their own accounts and their own name, and where it matters, on EU infrastructure with EU or open-weight AI models.

A lot of business software is rented. When you own the code and hold the keys, you can change supplier, move hosting or bring the work in-house without asking anyone.
That is why everything we build runs in your accounts and comes with its documentation. It is also why we help you choose where your data lives, whether that is an EU or UK region, a major cloud or servers you run yourself.
The choice depends on what the data is and who you work with. We explain the trade-offs plainly and leave the decision with you.

The people who plan it build it
We are a small company. You deal directly with the people doing the work, with no account managers in between. When a project needs a skill we do not have in-house, we bring in a trusted specialist and tell you who and why before they start.
AI as a tool, judgement by people
We use AI in our own work the way we use an editor or a compiler. It makes some parts faster. The decisions about what to build, and how, stay with people.
Who founded it
Founder and director
Tuomo Antikainen
Soventia was founded in 2026 by Tuomo Antikainen, a Finnish developer, designer, marketer and entrepreneur. He started his career in sales in 2001, founded his first company in 2004 and has worked for himself ever since.
Over that time he has been a CEO, system architect, developer, designer, marketer and consultant. He went freelance in 2012, building websites and then SEO, content, marketing and online sales for clients, and more recently AI tools and web apps. Soventia is where that work now happens as a company.
